DAK - DesignaKnit

OK - I’ve given in to demand and have finally purchased the Designaknit 7 Pro cd.

I’m not going to use it for garment shaping, not yet anyway, as my interest lies with designing & converting the pattern stitches.  Naturally the first thing I did was to convert all of my own Mylar charts into DAK .pat files.  It appears that while the DAK 7 pro converts to either .stp or .pat format, the older versions of DAK use .pat format. If you have the new versions of DAK you can open the .pat files & convert them to .stp.  Have not yet discovered why the programme bothers with .stp files.
